An University Teacher with a degree and an MS in Economics by the “Faculté de Droit et Sciences Économiques” of “Université de Paris” – France – and post-graduate studies in Agricultural Economics in the University of Oxford – England.
During his public career, he was Under Secretary General in the Brazilian Ministry of Finance, Secretary of Planning in the City of Rio de Janeiro and State Secretary in three different Rio’s State Administrations. At present, he is the Chairman of the Board of Invest-Rio, the State Agency for Economic Development in Rio de Janeiro and a Senior Consultant of FGV-Projetos.
