 Carlos Watanabe is the Director of Business Development and Video Communication at Brasil Telecom, an integrated telecommunications company offering fixed, mobile, data transmission, long distance, data center and internet services. Mr. Watanabe is responsible for product design, commercial launch and operation of IPTV at Brasil Telecom, as well as all media related initiatives.
Mr. Watanabe is a former McKinsey consultant, has worked with Market Planning at Telefonica and as the General Manager of the Radio Business Unit at Organizacao Jaime Camara, the largest media group in central Brazil. He has a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), and an MBA from The University of Michigan.
