 Marcos Antonio Mandarano is Electrical Engineer, graduated at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 1992. In 1995, he graduated as Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at COPPE/UFRJ. In 1995-96, he worked for Embratel at the department of sound and video. He spent half year (1996-97) at the Eletrobras Research Center (CEPEL) designing a graphic computer interface for the energy transmission system analysis. On beginning of 1997, he started working for VICOM, a satellite service provider with more than 17 years experience in the telecommunication market in Brazil. Since the VICOM acquirement by Comsat International in 2004, he started working as the product manager for the broadcast services. He is in charge for the products and the new development services related to this area. Terrestrial digital video transmission over IP backbone, satellite digital video Uplink, are some of the applications he is responsible for. He is a member of the Television Engineering Society (SET) in Rio de Janeiro since 1999. |
